The Summon Of Cultural and Artistic Festival of Imam Reza (AS)

The Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association of Austin and the Islamic Education Center of San Antonio are pleased to announce the first national Cultural and Artistic Festival of Imam Reza (AS). The festival invites all children and youth under the age of 25 to submit art and writing works in the following categories:
· Best memories of visiting the Shrine of Imam Reza (AS)
· Write a letter to Imam Reza (AS)
· Poetry competition on the topic of Imam Reza (AS)
· Drawing competition on the topic of Imam Reza (AS)

Submissions along with contact information (full name, age, mailing address, email and phone number) must be sent to:

The Iranian desert city is the stairway to Heaven

Imam Reza is her brother, The Son of Man her visitor
Ma’soumah was not destined to live long enough, but
Her knowledge ensured her with the immortal life
Great was she aware of the Prophet’s Shari’ah
In the absence of Imam, she answers all scholars
No wonder the seekers of truth all around the globe
Refuge to her shrine the center of learning, the focal point
She soothes your souls, strengthens your faith
She is Ma’soumah, the Granter of needs and the bless
“We hope in God’s love and believe
That God is always at our side
No matter what we may face in the world
He is side by side, we are on His side”
“I have not created the sun, moon, sky, and oceans
Except for the love of these Quentins
Fatima, her father, Imam Ali, Hassan and Hossain
Archangel Gabriel has conveyed His message”
Raise us in your company, guide us to the fountain of Kowsar
Quench our thirst through the hands of Ali, the Saghi of Kowsar
O Ma’soumah! Daughter of Imam Mousa ibn Ja’far, Al- Kazem
Intercede for us on the ‘Resurrection Day’ for Paradise please
She soothes your souls, strengthens your faith
She is Ma’soumah, the Granter of needs and the bless

The River of Life is running through Ahmad
A mirror of Paradise is in the city of Mashhad
The painter of belief, the seen, Earth and skies
Says the pillars of religion are 12 Imams in Islam
The Sunshine of Iran is shining at the world
Reza the 8th Imam, the Ruler of the Hope
For reaching Heaven, the deeds are count
Here is where the Love and needs are one
The scent of His throne smell in Mashhad
Angels are praying around as groups of pigeons
The heritage of Ahmad, is the Divine Jewel
Fly as far as the eyes could see his Golden Tomb
Let us melt winter in the ice age of hearts
Here is April, the spring, time to cheer up
Let us cry on our knees, ask him sincerely
It is not a dream; wishes come true in here
Give us pleasure of all the world flowers today
Make us happy in the Orchard white holly smell
Gift us your love because nothing else is love
The love, which reserved for now and behind life
Bathe our wishes in your sacred worldwide wills
Make it flow beneath all the lovely words of His
Swing the picture of His love in our empty hearts
Burst the Blossom of peace in our tired, thirsty minds
Clean the frozen roads before the rise of the last Sun
Snow bank streams under his approaching arrivals
Break the walls between the great Lord and us
The flowery waters is from the watery flowers
We learned from snow that melts in springs

The Light of your Sun shows the Religion and Him

To be immortal by your love, as 2 eyes makes one sight

Show the "To Be" streams; make it please flow
Take all doubts out of our hearts and minds doors
Change our pens into the Divine turning points
Let us think before we leave our earthly cages
To forget the snowy days, hope to flowery waters
Please us to what all-far ends He wills
The pleases which fulfill all our needs
In dreams or wakening whisper in our thoughts
